Fire Rescue & EMT
Description: Fire and Rescue students will focus on all aspects of Fire Science in the first-year curriculum. This will include firefighters’ safety and health, fire control and behavior, rescue equipment, and hazardous materials. The second-year curriculum will include pre-hospital care, medication identification, and ambulance operations. Students completing the second-year curriculum will be prepared to test for a Basic Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification.
