Automotive Collision Repair: Students are trained to perform damage analysis, cost estimating, body repair, pulling and straightening, welding, parts replacement, steering and suspension repair, painting/refinishing. Careers: Collision Repair Tech, Insurance Estimator/Appraiser, and Automotive Refinish Tech

Automotive Services: Students learn theory and experience hands-on instruction in repairing vehicles using the latest automotive diagnostic and repair equipment. Students will perform lab work in Prosser's fully operational automotive services business. Careers: Automotive Service Tech, Service Writers, and Insurance Adjusters

Aviation Flight/Operations: This program is for students interested in an aviation-related career. Curriculum includes basic aircraft science, power plants, propulsion, as well as primary ground school. The program complies with all FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) rules and regulations and second year students will have the opportunity to experience actual flight time. Careers: Pilots, Air Traffic Controllers, and Ground Crews

(NEW) Aviation Maintenance: Launch your aviation maintenance career through Prosser’s FAA-approved program with Vincennes University, where you’ll train on real aircraft systems and prepare for FAA exams. This hands-on, college-level program sets you on the path to earning your A&P certificate after high school.

Computer Programming/Databases: Students will learn computer programming concepts needed to implement and maintain software applications that people use every day with their computers, mobile devices and game consoles. Students learn multiple programming languages, providing a broad background. Careers: Computer Programmer, Informatics Specialist, Database Administrator, and Web Developer

Central Service Technician (CST, Sterile Processing): A central service technician is a medical professional who prevents infections by sterilizing, cleaning, processing, assembling, storing, and distributing medical supplies in a healthcare facility. They must conduct inventories and stock medical disposable goods in storage areas. Careers: Medical Equipment Preparers, Surgical Assistants.

Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA): After junior year, Health Career students can enroll in CCMA. CCMA offers health careers students the chance to perform both administrative and certain clinical duties under a physician’s supervision. Administrative tasks include scheduling, medical record keeping, and billing, while clinical tasks may involve taking vital signs, administering injections, performing EKGs, and preparing patients for examination. Civil Construction (Heavy Equipment Operator): Students learn to operate all types of heavy equipment including backhoes, front-end loaders, bulldozers, and dump trucks. Curriculum also covers safety, preventative maintenance, surveying, basic earthwork and road construction. Careers: Heavy Equipment Operator, Excavation, and Home Site Specialist

Certified Nursing Assistant Plus (CNA+): After their junior year, Health Careers students can enroll in CNA Plus at Prosser, which enhances their clinical experience, dual credits, and certifications as a Certified Nursing Assistant. CNA Plus is an excellent choice for students aiming to strengthen their resume and enter the workforce quickly. Careers: Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide, Medical Records Technician, RN

Construction Trades (Carpentry): Students learn numerous aspects of home construction by actually building a house in Prosser's own sub-division! Students complete hands-on and classroom instruction in estimating, layout, footing/foundation, platform construction, framing, roofing, siding, window/door installation, stair building, and interior finish. Careers: Framing/Trim Carpenter, Mason/Brick Layer, and Cost Estimator

Construction Trades (Electrical): This program covers Electrical installation, theory, and hands-on training, with over 20 college credits and certifications earned. Students gain experience through internships and can pursue advanced apprenticeships and training through the Prosser Adult Edu. course or earn an associate’s degree from Vincennes University. Careers: Electrician, Mechatronic Tech, and Electrical Engineer.

Construction Trades (HVAC): Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning: Students learn the skills necessary for installation, trouble-shooting and maintenance procedures for heating and air-conditioning units, and refrigeration equipment. Careers: Commercial/Residential Technician, Technical Service, and Pipe Fitter

(NEW) Construction Trades (Plumbing + Pipe Fitting): Assemble, install, alter, and repair pipelines or pipe systems that carry water, steam, air, or other liquids or gases. The curriculum also includes installing heating and cooling equipment and mechanical control systems, as well as sprinkler fitting. Careers: Apprentice, Journeyman Plumber, Supervisor, Business Owner

Cosmetology: Students learn how to cut and style hair, do permanent waves, color hair, and complete many other hair-related tasks. In addition, students learn how to give facials, pedicures, manicures, and nail replacements. Students will be prepared for the Indiana Cosmetology licensing examination. Careers: Cosmetologist, Nail Tech, and Make-up Artist

Criminal Justice: Students participate in a comprehensive program that introduces them to all aspects of the criminal justice system. Students will learn program-related topics, including rules of evidence, crime scene investigation, police history, crash investigation, juvenile and adult justice systems, personal safety, and defense tactics. Careers: Police Officer, Attorney, Probation Officer and Conservation Officer

Culinary Arts: In this highly-active program, students complete the basic disciplines of culinary, food and beverage, and baking. Students will perform practical experiences by operating Prosser's Cafe and participating in Prosser's Culinary Catering services as they prepare to become a chef. Careers: Chef, Baker, Caterer, Food Manager, Business Owner

Cybersecurity: This course covers the following categories of topics: legal and ethical issues; foundational knowledge required for cybersecurity and hands-on practice, including using the Linux command line, basics of computer networking, and basics of web technology; steps in hacking, including reconnaissance and exploits; cryptography; secure design of systems; and hardening operating systems. Careers: Network Security Support Technician, Security Auditor, and Digital Forensics Analyst.

Dental Careers: This program will prepare students for a dental assisting position. Curriculum will include instruction in chair-side assisting, equipment/instrument identification, tray set-ups, sterilization, disease control, histology, tooth morphology, and dental charting. Careers: Dentist, Dental Assistant, Dental Hygienist, future Dentist or Orthodontist

Design Technology: Students will learn to use the most current computer-aided design (CAD) and 3D modeling software and equipment to learn fundamental drafting, geometric constructions, ANSI standards, and residential design and site work. Careers: Architect, Engineer, and Interior Designer

Diesel Service Technology: Students learn to use state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and tools to repair and troubleshoot semi-trucks, dump trucks, and other heavy equipment. This program will provide lots of practical hands-on experiences. Careers: Diesel Maintenance Tech, Truck Sales, and Hydraulics Repair Tech

Early Childhood Education: The areas of study within this career focus on cognitive and social development. Prosser students will gain experience working with a diverse range of students, including both traditional and special education classrooms. Careers: Daycare worker or owner, Teacher, Special Education Teaching Assistant

(NEW) Education Professionals: Explore teaching careers while learning how children grow and learn from birth through adolescence. Discover what it takes to become a teacher, study child development, and gain real-world insight through observation and hands-on experiences. Careers: Teacher, Reading Intervention Specialist, Curriculum Developer, Support Student Services, Administration & Leadership

Entrepreneurship/ Marketing and Finance: This specialized Business course will provide students an opportunity to learn and apply business theories and concepts in an actual workplace environment. Students will be employed in a paid business internship that is connected to their personal and educational interests. Careers: Accountant, Sales Rep., Business Owner/Manager

Fire and Rescue/EMT: First-year students will study all aspects of Fire Science to include, firefighter safety, rescue equipment, fire control, rescue/extrication and hazardous materials. Second-year students will be prepared to obtain an Emergency Medical Technician certification. Careers: Firefighter, EMT, and Paramedic

Health Careers (CNA): Health Science students learn essential skills for various healthcare careers, including medical terminology, anatomy, disease processes, infection control, and wellness. They also study communication, legal, and ethical standards in healthcare, with second-year students gaining hands-on experience in a clinical setting to prepare for the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification. Careers: Nurse, Central Service Tech, X-ray Tech, and Medical Assistant, RN

Industrial Automation and Robotics: Students will learn industrial applications such as Robotics, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's), Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Electronics using one of the best industrial technology training labs in the Midwest. Earn Industry Certifications: FANUC Certified Robot Operator, MSSC CPT, OSHA 10, NCCER Core. Careers: Automation Technician, Mechanical or Robotics Engineer, Industrial Mechanic, Robotics Assistant

Introduction to Pharmacy: Students learn the fundamentals of a pharmacy career while attending evening classes at Prosser. Students are able to take a full load of classes at their high school. (A one-year program for seniors only.) Careers: Pre-Pharmacy, Pre-Med, and Pharmacy Tech

Landscape Management: Using technology practices, students will learn and practice procedures used in planning and designing a landscape. Students learn how to use different pieces of equipment to construct and manage landscape designs including golf course maintenance. (A one-year program for juniors or seniors.) Careers: Landscape Artist, Greens Superintendent, and Sports Turf Specialist

Precision Machining: Students learn to shape and form metal using the most current tool and die making equipment available. This project-based curriculum will include experiences using lathes, mills, drill presses, saws, grinders, and CNC. Careers: Machinist, Tool & Die Maker, and CNC Programmer

Pre Nursing: After the Health Careers student’s junior year, Prosser offers an option we call Pre-Nursing. This path is best suited for students who plan to take their CNA credentials and experience and quickly move on to working towards a more advanced degree and certification in the nursing field. Careers: Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide, Medical Records Technician, RN

Welding Technology: Students learn to fabricate and weld metal using shielded metal arc, oxyfuel, MIG, TIG, and plasma arc techniques and procedures. This program includes classroom and lab experiences that lead students to AWS(American Welding Society) certifications. Careers: Pipe Fitter, Iron Worker, and Steel Fabricator
